In this privacy statement, Timetravelr. B.V. (Timetravelr., we or us) provides information about the processing of personal data and the use of cookies. Timetravelr. is located Kanaalweg 140, 2321 JV Leiden, the Netherlands and registered with the trade register of the Dutch chamber of commerce under number 98782649.

Timetravelr. acts as a data controller with regard to the personal data that we generate or gather via the Timetravelr. app, the Timeblend app, the Timetravelr. website (www.timetravelr.app), the Timeblend website (www.timeblend.app) and the online community, by e-mail or otherwise.
This privacy statement applies to users of the Timetravelr. app and/or the Timeblend app as well as visitors of the Timetravelr. website (www.timetravelr.app), the Timeblend website (www.timeblend.app), members of the Timetravelr. online community, and/or the Timeblend online community or persons who follow or are otherwise interested in the activities of Timeblend and/or Timetravelr. and describes how we collect, use and disclose personal data.
Processing of personal data and other data
Personal data
Personal data is information about an identified or identifiable natural person (data subject). Timetravelr. collects, uses and processes the following personal data about you:

Other data
Timetravelr. also collects, uses and analyzes the following technical data and data related to your use of the Timetravelr. app and/or the Timeblend app on the basis of the number of the device on which you have downloaded and installed the Timetravelr. app and/or the Timeblend app (Device-ID). The Device-ID is not linked to you and we will not connect the Device-ID to you. This means that the following technical data and data related to your use of the Timetravelr. app and/or the Timeblend app is anonymous data and not regarded as personal data. Should Device-ID's for any reason be connected to natural persons, the following technical data and data related to your use of the Timetravelr. app and/or the timeblend app will be treated as personal data under this privacy statement.
We process this data for:
- optimizing and improving the quality, user experience, performance and functionality of the Timetravelr. app, the timeblend app, the Timetravelr. website, the timeblend website (www.timeblend.app), and for building new functionalities; and
- generating statistics on the use of the Timetravelr. app, the timeblend app, the Timetravelr. website, the timeblend website (www.timeblend.app) and the online community.

How we receive your personal data and other data
Timetravelr. collects your personal data in the following way(s):
Directly from you:
- when you create an account in the Timetravelr. app and/or the timeblend app or on the Timetravelr. website; or on the timeblend website (www.timeblend.app);
- when you submit a request on the Timetravelr. website or on the timeblend website (www.timeblend.app);
- when you use the Timetravelr. app and/or the timeblend app or on the Timetravelr. website or on the timeblend website (www.timeblend.app);
- when you apply for a newsletter; or
Automatically:
- when you use the Timetravelr. app or the timeblend app or visit the Timetravelr. website or visit the timeblend website (www.timeblend.app).
Timetravelr. does not collect personal data from third-party sources for the purposes covered by this privacy statement, unless this is permitted under applicable law and you have been informed accordingly.
You are not obliged to provide personal data. However,
- if you refuse to provide your Contact Information, we may be unable to contact you following our services or with our services;
- if you refuse to provide your Account Information, you are unable to create an account; and
- if you refuse to provide your Financial Information, we may be unable to provide you with our services.
Automated decision-making and profiling
Timetravelr. does not make use of automated decision-making, including profiling. Decisions that may have legal or similarly significant effects on individuals are not based solely on automated processing.
Principles and purposes for processing personal data
Legal basis
Timetravelr. processes your personal data on the basis of one of the following legal grounds under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- your consent;
- performance of a contract with you, or;
- legitimate interest of Timetravelr.
Timetravelr. processes certain personal data in order to pursue its legitimate interests. Timetravelr.'s legitimate interests include: to manage our relationship with you, for our marketing purposes (e.g. sending newsletters), to improve and (further) develop our services, to manage our contract with you and to process payment, billing and collection, IT management and IT security and to share data with other parties related to or engaged by Timetravelr. when needed for operation our activities, including making available the Timetravelr. app, the timeblend app, the Timetravelr. website, the timeblend website or the online community.
If you have given consent for the use of personal data, you may withdraw that consent. The withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing before you withdrew your consent.
Purposes
Timetravelr. uses personal data for various purposes, which we describe below:

Engagement of third parties
Timetravelr. may engage third parties if this is necessary for the provision of services, to support its business operations (e.g. IT service providers or cooperation partners) or to comply with any legal obligation. Third parties engaged by Timetravelr. process personal data exclusively on behalf of Timetravelr. Timetravelr. enters into a data processing agreement with these processors.
Provision of personal data to third parties
In principle, Timetravelr. will not disclose personal data to other parties. However, it may do so if:
- the personal data is provided to processors engaged by Timetravelr. with whom a processing agreement has been concluded or to independent controllers, such as IT, hosting, HR or other service providers, external advisers, accountants or solicitors, or;
- Timetravelr. is required by law to pass on personal data to competent authorities, such as regulators or other public authorities, or;
- the personal data is provided to a company belonging to the Timetravelr. group or another department within the Timetravelr. company.
Personal data will only be provided to the above parties for the purposes stated in this privacy statement, and to the extent permitted by this privacy statement and applicable laws and regulations, or if Timetravelr. has a legal obligation to provide personal data to a competent authority. Parties to whom personal data is provided are themselves responsible for compliance with privacy legislation. Timetravelr. is not responsible or liable for the processing of your personal data by these parties.
Transfer outside the European Economic Area (EEA)
In principle, Timetravelr. will not transfer personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). However, in order to provide its services, Timetravelr. may be required to do so. Where this is the case, Timetravelr. will take appropriate safeguards to ensure that personal data is transferred to such countries in a lawful manner, for example by entering into binding corporate rules or by agreeing on standard data protection clauses.
Cookies
Timetravelr. uses so-called "cookies". When using cookies, Timetravelr. collects certain data regarding your activity history on the Timetravelr. website, on the timeblend website and on third-party websites and apps, in accordance with the preferences specified by you via the cookie banner.
The cookie banner on the Timetravelr. website and timeblend website contains further information about the use of cookies, including the purposes for which Timetravelr. and timeblend use cookies.
Your data protection rights
Under the GDPR, you have several rights in relation to the processing of your personal data. These include:
- the right of access to your personal data;
- the right to rectification of inaccurate personal data;
- the right to erasure of personal data in specific circumstances;
- the right to restriction of processing;
- the right to data portability, where applicable; and
- the right to object to certain processing activities.

Timetravelr. uses a number of techniques to ensure that your data remains optimally available. To do this, we make regular copies of the data on our systems. However, removing data from these copies is technically virtually impossible. In line with advice from supervisory authorities, Timetravelr. will comply with your request to have your data removed. We will ensure that the data is immediately deleted from the active systems. However, the data will remain on the backup copies. We have a procedure in place to ensure that your data is not restored to the active system from these copies. We use the same method for our data archives.
Retention period
Timetravelr. does not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or as long as necessary to comply with laws and regulations. Personal data received following your subscription to a newsletter will be stored until you cancel your subscription. Personal data received when you created an account (e.g. account information) will be deleted after you terminate your account except for personal data that is required for legal reasons (e.g. for securing, asserting or enforcing legal claims or criminal prosecution) or for our financial administration. If personal data must be retained for legal reasons or for our financial administration, our processing will be limited for those purposes and will be processed on the basis of our legitimate interests to pursue those purposes.
Security of personal data
Timetravelr. has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data of data subjects against loss or unlawful processing, including:
- storing data in a secure digital environment to which only authorized persons have access;
- we make backups of data so that it can be restored in the event of physical or technical incidents;
- we apply a username and password policy on all our systems;
- all persons who may become aware of personal data on behalf of Timetravelr. are bound to confidentiality obligations;
- our employees are informed about the importance of protecting personal data; and
- we regularly test, evaluate and improve our measures.
How we contact you
Timetravelr. may contact you for various reasons. Regardless of the reason, we will never ask you to send us personal data via email, text message or a website during these contacts.
